Payments & transfers

  • Local payment rails support both sending and receiving in five markets: the UAE, UK, EU, US, and Canada (FPS/CHAPS, SEPA, ACH/Fedwire, EFT/Interac, Aani).
  • A separate international payout network reaches local rails in 60+ countries as an alternative to SWIFT, but it is outbound-only: incoming local payments can only arrive via the five core markets.
  • The explicit list of payout countries and currencies is no longer published, and the site is inconsistent on the count (40+ vs 60+ currencies); the full list is provided by the relationship manager.
  • SWIFT transfers directly from the account cover 40+ currencies to 180+ countries, for both sending and receiving.
  • Local dirham transfers started before 6 PM from Monday to Saturday are usually processed the same working day; after that cut-off they move to the next one.
  • International transfers usually take 2 to 4 working days.

Crypto

  • Crypto and digital-asset conversion is advertised as fully integrated within the account and listed in the terms as a service for both corporate and personal clients, but no supported coins, exchange names, or wallet-withdrawal terms are published.
  • The terms note that crypto transfers may be irreversible.
  • Crypto and digital-asset conversion is advertised as fully integrated within the account and listed as a service in the terms, but no supported coins, exchange names, or wallet-withdrawal terms are published.

  • Forex Trading (Licensed) / Gambling & Gaming (Licensed)Licensed forex trading and licensed gambling/gaming are not automatically approved: Breinrock permits them only with its prior written consent.

Countries & residency

  • Breinrock's legal terms also prohibit Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Northern Cyprus, Somaliland, South Ossetia and the occupied territories of Ukraine.

Licence & regulation

  • Operates as a group of separate legal entities, one per jurisdiction: Canada, the UK, the UAE, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, each with its own license or registration.
  • The Czech entity is licensed by the Czech National Bank as a Small-Scale Payment Service Provider.
  • The Swiss entity is a VQF member: a self-regulatory membership, not a full banking license.
  • UK customer funds are not covered by the FSCS deposit guarantee scheme; they are protected through safeguarding under the Payment Services Regulations 2017, held in a segregated account at ClearBank.
  • A Cyprus (Limassol) address appears in the company's contact details, but it is not a separately licensed entity.

Will Breinrock actually accept you?

Acceptance depends on where your company is registered, where its owners live, where your money flows - and your sector. The wizard checks Breinrock's published rules on all of them, and shows you the alternatives too.
