Limits
- Personal and business account holders alike can make up to three transfers a day. Transfers arranged by phone have no specific transaction limit.
Payments & transfers
- Cash transfers are not supported.
- The EU account comes with a local IBAN in the company's own name.
- The US account is a local account in the company's own name.
- The UK account comes with an account number and sort code of its own.
Licence & regulation
- Currency Solutions Ltd holds two direct FCA authorisations: as a payment institution (FRN 512130) and, under MiFID, for regulated investment products and currency options (FRN 602082).
- Customer e-money and payment accounts are provided by independent regional partners rather than by Currency Solutions itself: Currency Cloud Limited (a UK EMI) for UK customers, Currency Cloud B.V. (an EMI supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank) for EEA customers, and Visa Global Services Inc. (a US money-services business) for US customers.
