Pricing

  • Outgoing international transfers use the SHA charging model: the sender pays the sending fee, and the beneficiary covers any intermediary-bank charges.
  • Business only · incorporated in CR, CW, GI, GP, IM, LI, MK, UA, AEFor the business account, high-risk pricing applies to businesses registered in Costa Rica, Curacao, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Ukraine, or the United Arab Emirates.
  • Which personal price you pay is decided by the country that issued your identity documents, in practice your citizenship, and not by where you live. The UK counts as EEA for this.
  • So an EEA or UK citizen living outside the area still pays the EEA tier, while someone whose documents come from outside the EEA and the UK lands on the World plan at 20 euro a month.
  • Business only · incorporated in CR, CW, GI, GP, IM, LI, MK, UA, AEFor the merchant account, high-risk pricing applies to businesses registered in Costa Rica, Curacao, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Ukraine, or the United Arab Emirates.

Limits

  • A new personal wallet starts with a transfer limit of EUR 1,000 in and EUR 1,000 out. The tier rises by filling in a questionnaire, and in some cases uploading documents, once you have used 70% of the current limit.
  • Transfer limits start at EUR 100,000 for incoming and EUR 100,000 for outgoing transfers, and can be raised through a questionnaire and document verification once the account is in use.
  • Transfer limits start at EUR 100,000 for incoming and EUR 100,000 for outgoing transfers.
  • Transfer limits start at EUR 100,000 for incoming and EUR 100,000 for outgoing transfers, and can be raised with a questionnaire and supporting documents once 70% of the starting limit has been used.
  • Genome states that SEPA Instant transfers can carry limits, and that batch transfers are capped at 3000 payments at a time.
  • Exact per-transaction and monthly limits are not published on this tier: the account manager sets them individually.
  • A new personal wallet starts with a transfer limit of EUR 1,000 in and EUR 1,000 out, and rises through a verification questionnaire, with documents where required, as the account level goes up.

Payments & transfers

  • International transfers via SWIFT, Faster Payments, TARGET2, CHAPS and BACS are available only on business wallets, not on personal ones.
  • DKK is available on multi-currency accounts and can be linked to a card, but it is not among the currencies Genome supports for SWIFT transfers.

Cards

  • This currency cannot be linked to a Genome Visa card. The card works with EUR, USD, GBP, PLN, CHF, CZK, HUF, SEK and DKK.

Opening an account

  • Business onlyCompanies with a complex business structure are not accepted.
  • Business onlyA merchant account is a separate service from the standard business account: it can only be opened after a business account has been approved, and it requires its own merchant KYC questionnaire, document upload, and application review before activation.

Licence & regulation

  • Genome is operated by UAB Maneuver LT (company registration number 304785124), which holds electronic money institution licence no. 32, issued by the Bank of Lithuania on 29 March 2018.

Will Genome actually accept you?

Acceptance depends on where your company is registered, where its owners live, where your money flows - and your sector. The wizard checks Genome's published rules on all of them, and shows you the alternatives too.
