Payments & transfers

  • USD can only be sent to a limited set of destinations: the US, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Taiwan, and South Korea.
  • USD payments to the US are not supported via wire or ACH transfers.
  • The euro account comes with a German IBAN for businesses registered in Germany and a Luxembourg IBAN by default, both on SEPA Instant, plus a Danish IBAN on standard SEPA.
  • The sterling account comes with local GBP details alongside a Danish IBAN.
  • The Swedish krona account is split in two: a Swedish IBAN that handles local payments over RIX-RTGS and holds SEK only, and a Danish IBAN on SEPA for everything else.

Business activity

  • Lending & CreditLending and credit activities - including debt restructuring, credit repair, debt settlement, providing credit, and debt collection - are only accepted with Juni's prior approval.
  • Juni does not accept shell companies or shell banks, offshore or personal investment-holding companies, or SPVs and other non-transparent ownership structures.
  • Juni also refuses financial, legal or accounting services operating without a required licence, binary options, fourth-party payment processing, and multi-layered money-service businesses.
  • Marketplace SellerMarketplaces and platforms that onboard third-party sellers are considered only with at least a three-year track record and seller onboarding held to financial-services standards.
  • Affiliate MarketingAffiliate, network-marketing, referral, and MLM businesses are accepted subject to review of their compensation and withdrawal scheme.
  • Import / Export / Transport & LogisticsImport/export and logistics businesses are accepted subject to supply-chain due diligence, and must not involve prohibited goods or countries.

Licence & regulation

  • Operated by Juni Technology AB, licensed in Sweden as an e-money institution (EMI) by Finansinspektionen (license no. 64025).
  • Customer funds are protected by safeguarding in ring-fenced accounts, not by deposit insurance (no DGS scheme).
