Pricing
- Businesses that are high-risk or need a tailored or cross-jurisdiction setup fall under Enhanced Due Diligence, with pricing quoted per client after a compliance review. This typically applies to businesses primarily in service trades without trackable logistics or delivery records, businesses with a high share of inbound activity involving personal accounts, businesses with complex corporate ownership structures with layered or hard-to-trace beneficial owners, or businesses with a cross-jurisdiction footprint spanning multiple countries.
Payments & transfers
- IBANs are issued in the business's own name: they are not pooled or virtual accounts.
Crypto
- The EUR account and the EURW stablecoin (minting and redemption) are provided by Newrails' EU-regulated Electronic Money Institution in Lithuania. Broader crypto exchange functionality between EURW and other virtual assets ('On-chain FX') is instead provided by a separate Costa Rica entity that is not authorised under MiCA or any EU regulation, and that exchange service is only available to clients located outside the European Economic Area.
Business activity
- Newrails does not support businesses in intellectual property or proprietary rights infringement sales, counterfeit or unauthorized goods, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, pseudo-pharmaceuticals, substances designed to mimic illegal drugs, multi-level marketing, automotive (used cars and heavy industry vehicles), fine art dealers, auction houses and pawn brokers, or industrial chemicals.
