In the fine print
Conditions from PayDo's own terms, pricing pages and acceptable-use policy that don't fit in a table. Read in full and checked by hand.
Pricing
- Business onlyBusiness pricing is personalized to the applicant's profile (country of incorporation, sector, company age, monthly turnover); the website shows only the minimum quotes until you complete the application form, and the range rises to as much as a 1,500 EUR setup fee and 200 EUR monthly for the highest-risk profiles.
- Beyond the multi-currency IBAN account, PayDo also runs a merchant/checkout service supporting 350+ payment methods, with acquiring priced on request and separate from the account fee schedule.
- Danish krone runs on Kronos2 and costs a business 0.1% to receive with a €5 minimum and 0.2% to send. The personal price list does not carry a dedicated DKK rail at all.
- Euro pricing depends on the account type: a business pays 0.1% to receive over SEPA with a €3 minimum and 0.2% to send with a €5 minimum, while a personal account receives free and pays 0.1% on TARGET2 with a €7.50 minimum.
- Sterling over Faster Payments costs a business 0.1% in each direction with a €2.50 minimum, while a personal account receives free and pays 0.1% with a €0.50 minimum.
Cards
- Physical cards can only be ordered and delivered in 28 countries: the 27 EU member states plus the United Kingdom. The rest of the EEA (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) is excluded, and virtual cards are not subject to this restriction.
Crypto
- Business onlyThe only prohibited crypto activity is dealing with unregulated virtual-asset service providers; the core fiat account does not itself process crypto-asset transactions, and its dealings with regulated exchanges are on the fiat side only.
- Business onlyA dedicated fiat-to-crypto Crypto Transfer Service exists, but it is provided only through the PayDo Canada Ltd entity on a non-custodial basis (no crypto custody or wallets); an EU/UK account holder reaches it across entities, it is not enabled by default, and it requires a separate Crypto Verification with PayDo Canada.
- Personal onlyThe only prohibited crypto activity is dealing with unregulated virtual-asset service providers; regulated crypto exchanges are not blocked on that basis.
- Personal onlyA separate fiat-to-crypto Crypto Transfer Service is provided only through the PayDo Canada Ltd entity on a non-custodial basis; for the EU/Malta account it is not enabled by default and requires a separate Crypto Verification with PayDo Canada.
Sanctions
- Payment restrictions reach single regions, not just whole countries, based on where the funds come from or where the payer is: Abkhazia, Imereti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, and Shida Kartli in Georgia; Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Sevastopol in Ukraine; and Transnistria in Moldova.
Will PayDo actually accept you?
Acceptance depends on where your company is registered, where its owners live, where your money flows - and your sector. The wizard checks PayDo's published rules on all of them, and shows you the alternatives too.
