In the fine print

Conditions from Payswix's own terms, pricing pages and acceptable-use policy that don't fit in a table. Read in full and checked by hand.

Pricing

  • Business onlyBusiness clients are placed into one of three risk-priced tiers: Business (low risk), Business Plus (medium risk), and Business Exclusive (high risk).
  • A Lithuanian euro IBAN comes with the account and is reachable over SEPA. What an individual SEPA payment costs depends on the plan.

Limits

  • No transaction or monthly limits are published for this plan.

Payments & transfers

  • Incoming SWIFT transfers are supported only in EUR, AUD, GBP, HKD, SGD, and USD, and only under certain conditions on request.
  • SEPA payments reach the EEA plus Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, Gibraltar, and the United Kingdom, as well as the non-EEA territories of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man.
  • Outgoing SWIFT transfers are restricted and unavailable to certain industries, including adult content, carbon credits, cash, charities, defence and military, drug paraphernalia, high-value dealers, money service businesses and payment service providers (except sending your own funds to your own account), multi-level marketing, pawnbrokers, political groups, precious metals, speculative trading, and weapons.
  • Incoming SWIFT is not part of the standard setup: it is granted on request and under conditions.

Crypto

  • Business onlyPayswix provides banking to licensed crypto-asset businesses (VASPs/CASPs), including dedicated or virtual IBANs for crypto exchanges.
  • Business onlyCrypto-related businesses are onboarded under the Business Exclusive tier.

Business activity

  • Business onlyBusiness clients whose sector isn't in the low-risk Business list, and isn't otherwise prohibited, are onboarded into this medium-risk Business Plus tier by default; many sectors that aren't explicitly listed land here (for example media and advertising, marketing, IT development, legal and accountancy services, travel agencies, and logistics).
  • Payswix does not onboard businesses dealing in NFTs, hazardous goods, replica goods, art and antiques, or illegal substances.

Sanctions

  • Payments to and from Crimea are prohibited, and companies incorporated there are excluded as well.

Licence & regulation

  • Regulated in Lithuania as an EMI by the Bank of Lithuania (licence No. 21), authorised since 2017; the entity was formerly named GlobalNetInt UAB.

Will Payswix actually accept you?

Acceptance depends on where your company is registered, where its owners live, where your money flows - and your sector. The wizard checks Payswix's published rules on all of them, and shows you the alternatives too.
