Pricing
- Currency conversion fees start at 0.1% for major currencies and 0.15% for others.
- An inactivity fee of HKD 88 applies in any month with fewer than 5 outgoing payments.
- The fee is quoted in euro rather than in Hong Kong dollars, and charged as the equivalent in Danish krone.
- Sterling comes with dedicated UK local details for Business Account clients in Hong Kong, and both sending and collecting are free.
- The fee is quoted in euro rather than in Hong Kong dollars, and charged as the equivalent in Swiss francs.
- Collecting through Swiss RTGS costs double the standard collection fee, €10 instead of €5.
- The euro account now comes with dedicated local details, an IBAN in Germany, Luxembourg or Liechtenstein, and both sending and collecting are free.
Limits
- There is no maximum amount on a single transaction.
Payments & transfers
- Reaches over 120 countries via SWIFT; local-currency corridors are limited to the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, and Turkey.
- This replaced the previous setup, which ran euro through a Hong Kong domestic rail and charged HKD 75 to send. That rail was retired in July 2026.
Cards
- Cards are free virtual Mastercards denominated in HKD; physical cards are not currently available.
Business activity
- Payment Services (PSP / EMI)Money service businesses and payment/EMI providers need the prior approval of Statrys' banking partners before an account can be opened.
- Cash and check handling services are a prohibited industry: check cashing, deposit-taking, credit repair, and debt restructuring, recovery, settlement, and collection.
- Pharmaceutical products are a prohibited industry.
Opening an account
- Beyond multi-currency business accounts, Statrys also provides company incorporation and accounting services.
Sanctions
- The prohibited-country list applies to the origin, routing, or destination of a payment, not only the sender's or recipient's country.
Licence & regulation
- Statrys is not a bank; client funds are held at DBS as custodian. It operates under its own licences, including a Hong Kong Money Service Operator licence (No. 19-02-02726) and a Singapore Major Payment Institution licence (No. PS20200692).
