- Business onlyCorporate accounts carry a yearly minimum fee, but Sygnum's own price list is inconsistent about the amount: the fee table states CHF 15,000 while a footnote in the same document sets the threshold at CHF 10,000. Treat the annual floor as a range between the two rather than a fixed figure.
- Business onlyCorporate onboarding costs CHF 2,000 in screening fees. It is payable before onboarding starts and is retained even if the application is turned down.
- Business onlyOpening a capital payment account (for depositing share capital) costs CHF 500.
- Personal onlyOnboarding is free of charge for private individuals.
- Fiat balances earn no interest: the rate is 0.0% on CHF, EUR, USD and SGD.
Limits
- Personal onlyPrivate qualified investors need at least CHF 100,000 to start a relationship, counted as either a deposit or trading volume.
Payments & transfers
- The EUR account runs on the Swiss IBAN's own SEPA and euroSIC rails. It is not an IBAN issued in a eurozone country.
Crypto
- Personal onlyCustody covers more than 70 digital assets. Staking is available on ETH, SOL, ADA, SUI, ATOM, ICP and XTZ, and Lombard loans accept more than 20 crypto assets as collateral.
- Personal onlyYou can deposit and withdraw to external wallets you own yourself. The first send to a new wallet is held for a screening check before it goes through.
- Business onlyThe corporate plan runs on the same crypto platform as the private one (custody, trading, staking, lending), with a CHF 2,000 onboarding screening fee and a yearly minimum fee on top.
Opening an account
- Business onlyAccess requirements for corporate and institutional clients are not published as fixed thresholds: Sygnum sets them per client, through its onboarding specialists.
Licence & regulation
- Only the Swiss entity, Sygnum Bank AG, provides the bank account. The group's Singapore, Liechtenstein and Abu Dhabi entities offer custody and trading, not fiat accounts.
Will Sygnum actually accept you?
Acceptance depends on where your company is registered, where its owners live, where your money flows - and your sector. The wizard checks Sygnum's published rules on all of them, and shows you the alternatives too.
