Limits

  • There is no maximum on incoming wire transfers, and higher limits can be approved based on the nature and history of the business.

Payments & transfers

  • Beyond the published restricted list, Truly Financial reserves the right to pause or suspend payments to other countries at its discretion.
  • The sterling account is domiciled in the UK, so customers can pay you in British pounds.
  • The euro account is domiciled in Europe, so customers can pay you over SEPA.
  • EFT and pre-authorized debit (PAD) on Canadian dollar accounts are granted case by case, depending on the nature of the business and the account history.
  • A USD account held at a Canadian bank cannot be linked over EFT or PAD.
  • Money arriving in the USD account over ACH or wire is available immediately.

Business activity

  • Truly Financial also restricts business activities that fall outside its named sectors, such as multi-level-marketing and pyramid schemes, pawnbrokers, collection agencies, carbon-credit trading, lottery and get-rich-quick schemes, selling social-media followers or likes, and reselling branded goods without authorization; it describes its overall restricted-business list as indicative and not exhaustive.

Sanctions

  • Crimea is also on the restricted list, for both sending and receiving payments.

Licence & regulation

  • The USD account is FDIC insured up to $250,000, subject to conditions.

Will Truly Financial actually accept you?

Acceptance depends on where your company is registered, where its owners live, where your money flows - and your sector. The wizard checks Truly Financial's published rules on all of them, and shows you the alternatives too.
