- Business onlyFor business customers, a separate Small Business & Freelance tariff (Standard/Prime/Pro/Pro+ plans) exists for sole traders based in Germany or Spain (if unregistered) or registered as individuals in France, Italy, the Netherlands, or Poland. This comparison shows pricing for Vivid's General Business Tariff, which is available to all business customers but may be higher than what qualifying freelancers actually pay.
- Business only · incorporated in DE, NL, ESCompanies still being formed (e.g. GmbH i.G./UG i.G. in Germany, BV i.o./NV i.o. in the Netherlands, S.L./S.A. en formación in Spain) can open a Founder Account, which uses the same General Business plans with a temporary fee exemption during the formation period, rather than being a separate plan.
- Personal onlyFor personal accounts, no business-sector restrictions are published. Gambling-related and cash-equivalent transactions are allowed, but carry an additional 3% fee rather than being blocked.
- GBP transfers use a dedicated Faster Payments (FPS) local rail (minimum fee EUR 0.50, not available on the Free Start plan) and route through their own dedicated correspondent bank, separate from the generic correspondents used for most other currencies.
- The free EUR transfer fee applies only to SEPA transfers; non-SEPA EUR transfers are charged under Vivid's general international-transfer fee schedule instead.
- USD transfers use a dedicated ACH/Fedwire local rail, with a minimum fee of EUR 0.50; this rail is not available on the Free Start plan.
- Hong Kong, along with Serbia, Uruguay, and Vietnam, is excluded from Vivid's Guaranteed SWIFT (OUR) option, meaning outgoing HKD/Hong Kong transfers are charged a flat EUR 15 fee per transfer rather than falling under any free-transfer allowance.
Limits
- On the Free Start (business) and Standard (personal) plans, only incoming transfers are available: outgoing international transfers are not supported.
- Business onlyMinimum staking purchase is EUR 1, minimum sale is EUR 0.01; the maximum order size varies by crypto pair, but larger orders can be split into multiple smaller ones at no extra cost.
- Personal onlyCard purchases are also capped at EUR 30,000 per month, in addition to the EUR 10,000 daily limit; this monthly cap, like the plan's other card and ATM limits, is the same across the Standard, Plus, and Prime plans.
- Personal onlyContactless card payments without a PIN are capped under PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication rules at a cumulative EUR 150, or any single transaction under EUR 50: this limit is not tied to a specific daily or monthly period.
- Business onlyIncoming transfers to the business account have no limit on number or amount, though Vivid may occasionally request additional documentation. Outgoing international transfers can be initiated from as little as EUR 1 with no maximum amount, though for very large transfers Vivid may request additional information or documentation.
- Business onlyIncoming transfers to the business account have no limit on number or amount, and outgoing international transfers can be initiated from as little as EUR 1 with no maximum amount.
Payments & transfers
- Vivid applies no single bank-wide rule to incoming transfers: what you can receive depends on which IBAN your account is issued with and whether it is a EUR or non-EUR account. The gap is wide: a German IBAN takes SEPA transfers only, plus transfers from the United States, while a Luxembourg, Dutch, Spanish, Italian or French IBAN takes payments from anywhere outside the denylist.
- German (DE) IBANs can only receive SEPA/EUR transfers, plus one exception for EUR or USD transfers originating in the United States: no other international incoming corridor is available on a DE IBAN.
- Non-EUR accounts using a Luxembourg (LU4080) or Danish (DK) IBAN can receive transfers from over 50 countries.
- EUR and non-EUR accounts using the Luxembourg IBAN under BIC VVIDLUL2XXX, and accounts with Dutch, Spanish, Italian, or French IBANs, can receive transfers from anywhere worldwide except the countries on Vivid's sanctions/compliance denylist.
- The outgoing-country list mixes two different eligibility sets depending on account currency: only EUR accounts can send to Brazil, Costa Rica, French Guiana, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, the Holy See, India, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Martinique, Mayotte, Réunion, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin (French part), Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Serbia, and Uruguay; only non-EUR accounts can send to the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
- USD payments must be sent via SWIFT, ACH, or Fedwire. Payments to the UK can be sent via SEPA, SWIFT, or Faster Payments (FPS). Outgoing transfers to China are only supported to specific recipient banks.
- NGO & Charity (Regulated)For non-profit/charity customers, cross-border transfers (incoming and outgoing) outside the EEA are only permitted to and from the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Greenland, Japan, South Korea, New Caledonia, New Zealand, and the USA.
- Business onlyStaking orders are funded from an 'Uninvested Cash' balance held in EURC, with free transfers to and from the main business account; target-price (limit) orders are only available for crypto assets accessed through Business Brokerage.
- SEK payments route through the same dedicated correspondent bank as DKK (BIC SXPYDKKKXXX), rather than the generic correspondent used for most other non-EUR currencies.
- EUR is the only currency with multiple IBAN sub-types at Vivid: German (DE) IBANs are restricted to SEPA transfers plus a single exception for USD/EUR transfers originating in the US; Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French, and Luxembourg IBANs can receive worldwide, minus a compliance denylist of roughly 65 countries.
- USD is the only non-EUR currency that German (DE) IBANs, otherwise restricted to SEPA, can receive, specifically for transfers originating in the United States.
- Outgoing transfers to China are only supported to specific recipient banks.
- SGD payments route through a dedicated correspondent bank, DBS Bank Singapore (BIC DBSSSGSGXXX), rather than the generic correspondent used for most other non-EUR currencies.
- DKK payments route through a dedicated correspondent bank (BIC SXPYDKKKXXX, also used for SEK), rather than the generic correspondent used for most other non-EUR currencies. DKK is also available as a native (non-EUR) IBAN currency.
- PLN payments route through a dedicated correspondent bank, PKO Bank Polski (BIC BPKOPLPWXXX), rather than the generic correspondent used for most other non-EUR currencies.
Crypto
- Business onlyCrypto holdings are held in an omnibus wallet operated by Vivid Money B.V.: the customer retains legal ownership, but there is no self-custody wallet and no option to withdraw crypto to an external wallet. Closing the crypto account requires selling all holdings and withdrawing the proceeds in EUR to the main account.
- Business onlyA tax identification number (TIN) is required for the crypto/staking account, for Dutch regulatory compliance.
- Personal onlyCrypto trading is available on more than 300 cryptocurrencies, with a minimum trade size of EUR 1.
Business activity
- Business only · NGO & Charity (Unregistered)Non-profit, charitable, and unregistered association applicants are not automatically denied outright: they can request Vivid's prior exemption approval regardless of their registration status.
- Business only · NGO & Charity (Regulated) · incorporated in DENon-profits and charities are accepted only if incorporated in Germany under specific legal forms (e.V., Stiftung, gGmbH, gUG, or gAG). At least one director and one beneficial owner must be resident in Germany or within 10km of the German border, with all other directors/owners resident in the EEA or Switzerland, and the board must have at least 2 members. Religious or political organisations, unregistered associations, and non-profits still in formation are not accepted.
- Business onlyVivid's absolute prohibition list only covers activities that are illegal outright: the drug trade, sexually-related illegal services, weapons and military/defence dealing, human trafficking, corruption, and wildlife trafficking. A broad range of other activities, including adult entertainment, gambling, crypto, MLM, auctions, counterfeit goods, high-value goods, corporate/legal services, and Ponzi schemes, are not banned outright but require Vivid's specific prior approval before being accepted.

Countries & residency

Licence & regulation
- Payment and e-money services are provided by Vivid Money S.A., a Luxembourg-licensed electronic money institution (CSSF licence number W00000015). Investment products, crypto trading, and staking are instead provided by a separate legal entity, Vivid Money B.V. in Amsterdam, licensed by the Dutch AFM.
